Care advice

I recommend that before each lighting you trim the wick to approx, 5mm, so that the candle starts to smoke or the candle burns up unnecessarily quickly. If you find that it starts to soot, turn off the candle, if the candle starts burning high and intense, the wick is too long and the candle should be extinguished immediately and the wick should then be trimmed. Also keep in mind thatthe conditions in the room affect the wick, such as open windows or warm places. 

Store your candle dry, at room temperature and never in direct sunlight. Other
temperatures can affect the wax.

Use a heat resistant dish or object to place your candle on! And NEVER place near
flammable objects.

Always follow the safety instructions that come with your candle, it is extremely important to be careful when handling candles.

Never leave your candle unattended and never allow children or animals to come into contact with candles.

Safety regulations

Never leave a candle unattended. Place candles at an appropriate distance from combustible material. Always keep lit candles out of the reach of children and animals. Candles emit more heat in the direction the wick is pointing, so turn the candles away
from each other if you have them in a group. Remember to keep at least 10 cm distance between the candles. Also keep in mind that candles in groups can get very hot and can drip, soot and/or flare up and melt unevenly.

Never place candles close together or near heat sources. Provide enough air

around the candle. Always trim the wick so it is no longer than 5mm. This is so that the candle does not burn down too quickly or create too large a flame. When 1cm-2cm of the candle remains, extinguish the candle. Always extinguish the candle's flame with a candle extinguisher. Always keep the candle clean of debris such as matches. Remove packaging and markings, such as the small "hand made" note before lighting a
candle.

Trim the edge of the block light, if it has become too high. (The edge should be a
maximum of 0.5-1 cm high.) Remove the wax that has run down from the candle when it is warm and cool to avoid large piles of wax. Be careful and always wait to touch the
candles until they are sure to have cooled down. Always keep a distance of at least 30 cm between lights and objects above. If a candle has several wicks, all wicks must be lit each time.

ALWAYS use a candle holder or candle holder that is heat-resistant and child-proof
when lighting candles without a container. This is to avoid danger, fire or damage to
your furniture.

A candle without a container can damage your furniture with stains
and can create a fire hazard! A candle without a container melts, sometimes already at the beginning but always eventually, and some of my candles in the webshop are more made to look at than to burn and therefore melt faster due to their shape or otherwise, although all of them can be burned, therefore ALWAYS be careful to follow the advice above!

A candle without a container should never burn for more than 1-2 hours at a time, this is to maintain the lifespan of the candle, do not create too large a flame or unnecessarily much heat, always keep an eye on your candle so you can see how it
burns and can put it out before it melts out too soon or create too big a flame.

Avoid direct inhalation and ventilate the room after extinguishing. Never move a lighted candle!
